Prof. Yasunori Mitani
He received B.Sc., M.Sc. and D. Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University, Japan in 1981, 1983 and 1986, respectively. He was a Visiting Research Associate at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1994 to 1995. He is currently a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan. At present he is the Head of Environmental Management Center of KIT. His research interests are in the areas of analysis and control of power systems. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan and IEEE.
